TERMS + CONDITIONS
DEPOSITS, CONFIRMATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
With any wine tastings, private bookings or large exclusive area reservations at Sager + Wilde/Fare, we require a deposit or card authentication to hold any space for private booking.
All deposits will be redeemed against your total bill upon payment.
For large parties, corporate hire and venue buyouts, pre-payment or card authorisation of the full minimum spend/confirmed package is required 1 month in advance of your booking.
Deposits are non-refundable, with flexible discretion given to the events manager. If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the booking, the deposit can be transferable to another date within 6 months of the original booking.
For tastings, canapés & set menus, we require confirmation of guest count no later than 2 business days prior to your booking for any amendments. You will be charged according to the guest count we have on record at that time, even if not all guests attend the event.
Guest’s dietary requirements, food pre-orders, any specified beverage choices, and timings must be confirmed 7 days in advance of your event.
No events are confirmed until deposits have been received & confirmation is sent from a member of the Sager + Wilde’s events department. By submitting the deposit, all T&Cs are agreed upon. A contract will also be issued to be signed.
DEPOSITS, CONFIRMATIONS & CANCELLATIONS (Covid-19)
If cancellation is a result of government legislation that disallows for the event to proceed, refund of the deposit is to be made under the following circumstances:
If cancellation is within 5 days of the booking and any bespoke food/beverages have been paid for on behalf of the venue, we will require compensation - this will be at cost price to cover losses. At an additional cost, these items can also be delivered to the guest.
MINIMUM SPENDS
Any event or party hosted privately or non-privately in an exclusive area across the venues will incur a minimum spend based upon the date/time. If the final bill happens to fall short, we will simply charge the remainder as a hire fee for the space.
SERVICE CHARGE & BILLS
A discretionary charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill as Service Charge.
Our team is more than happy to split your bill to your preference, however, we are not unable to offer a tab system, and all items ordered will be confined to one bill. Different rules may apply depending on the venue/privatised hire.
EVENT TIMINGS
For all events, the start time allocated to your booking is the time in which we expect your event to begin. We love to host a cocktail or sparkling reception to welcome your group, but this must be pre-arranged with a member of the Events Team.
ANy PRE-ORDERed FOOD Will be served no later than 30 minutes from your first guests’ arrival unless requested otherwise.
If your group is running late, you are required to contact the venue directly. We offer a 15-minute grace period, after which, we will presume that you are no longer joining us, and your deposit will be withheld.
HOSTING AREAS
For decorations and area setups, we like to keep things minimal. If you’d like to bring in some decorations to spruce up any private areas, we welcome this with open arms. Our only request is no confetti (it’s a long story...).
SMOKING AREAS
Sager + Wilde Paradise Row - Smoking is permitted on the Terrace
Sager + Wilde - Hackney Road - Smoking is permitted outside the venue
Fare - Smoking is not permitted in our outdoor Courtyard but is permitted out the front of the venue.
